Computer Access

A personal computer is not necessary to participate in Purpose Institute as classes are taught live. However, the Purpose Institute website is an excellent resource. It holds student data, grades, and course notes for downloading. Tuition can be paid electronically, and electronic messages can be sent to staff and faculty. Furthermore, alumni can access their records post-graduation or request an official transcript.

Getting Started

Individual enrollments can be completed online at, or by contacting the campus administrator, Juan & Kristan Casas, at (219) 844-8672. Church presentations also can be arranged through the administrator.

Purpose Institute is a Christian-based training program. It does not discriminate on the basis of religion, race, color, or national or ethnic origin in the administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, or other school-administered programs.

About Purpose Institute

Purpose Institute's vision is to become a worldwide tool in the hands of local leaders to train efficient workers for a global harvest. God has called us to this ministry and Purpose Institute exists to serve training needs. North American tuition funds campuses in mission fields, continuous improvement of the system, and minimal staff expenses. We use existing facilities (i.e. churches) as campuses in order to keep expenses low. We help whole mission fields and church districts who wish to adopt PI as their ministerial training arm. Though Purpose institute has existed in some form since 1994, it adopted its official name on May 25th, 2001. Pastor Paul Cook of Turn Point Church in Columbus, Ohio, USA serves as CEO; and Bishop F. Joe Ellis of Canton, Ohio, USA is the President. More about the history, vision, governing values, staff, and current statistics concerning the growth the Lord has allowed Purpose Institute can be viewed on the website at
